↪ this blog is, and will always be, based in the main comic continuity / earth-616. i'm not a fan of the mcu, i don't care about marvel rivals, and while this may make me sound like a dick, my main focus and happy place is writing stories focused on the og marvel universe and, like. maybe three alternate universes outside of my crafted verses. you do you, but i'm gonna do me, and i like what i like and that's that on that.

↪ i am begging at this point: reblog from the source. i am not chronically on my dash or attached to my phone, and i need my notifs to live. if it's a meme i've created, sure, go for it, obviously i made that thing with the intention to be shared. but my edits, my headcanons, my meta - none of these are up for grabs unless they're about your portrayal specifically. i don't throw fits and hardblock because of an oopsie, it's whatever, but if it's habitual i do usually end up softblocking, to spare my notifs and my frustration levels. this is just common courtesy at this point.

↪ don't involve me in fandom drama bullshit. if you're mad jimmy bo bob won't write with you, take that to jimmy bo bob like an adult. i'm not interested in anyone crashing out on the dash over petty shit - and rest assured, it usually is petty shit. i am too old and too tired for that nonsense. it's easy and free to block and move on with your life.

PORTRAYAL

↪ i am going to annoyingly drive this message home, but my portrayal is based solely in earth-616 / marvel comics. if you aren't familiar with the comics, that's okay! i literally do not expect anyone to follow me into the depths of insanity to read over sixty years of comics to see the vision. instead, i have a handy dandy guide to 616 tony in comparison to the version everyone seems to know and how very different they are, so you can at least have a broad overview.

↪ as a further suppliment to your education here at tony stark university, you can also check out his dossier and, if you're interested in where to start giving comics a try, a a list of notable runs that are incredibly influential to how i view tony stark.

↪ i am exceptionally picky about runs published post-2017 (because it seems like things really took a nosedive at that point), so my canon is heavily cherry-picked after that point. there are several events and runs i either don't include at all or only take, like. two panels from and throw the rest in the trash. those are also included with the notable runs as dead dove do not eat.

↪ if i post something from a comic and you want to know where it's from, just ask. i'm happy to dig up the source again and make you look at it with your eyes. you may feel regret.

↪ i can sometimes be slow about following back. not only am i not constantly online - i do have adult things and sleep to take care of - i have two blogs to keep up with. give me a week or so before giving me up as a lost cause, because i do actually read a blog's info and scan the writing to make sure we're going to mesh well before deciding whether or not i want to follow.

↪ please be aware (because this has been kind of a problem) that i do practice exclusivity to a degree, and my exclusives are plastered all over my blog, including in my pinned post. my exclusives are the only portrayals of those characters i will follow and interact with, and are to a one people i've written with for years and their portrayals are so entertwined with mine at this point that i'm not interested in interacting with other versions of those characters.

↪ i don't follow or interact with characters that are affiliated with hydra or have hydra verses. c'mon, man, hydra are fucking nazis and there are approximately ten million other bad guy groups to run with that aren't. aim's right there. they even come with stupid yellow beekeeper uniforms.
